Pan-fried cherries in the "vergeoise" sugar and maple syrup

A recipe for 5 people and a cooking time of 7 minutes.

For this recipe you will need :

  • 2 tablespoons of vergeoise, or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or liquid honey
  • 500g of cherries
  • Olive oil

Find us as usual in the kitchen to introduce this recipe ! Quickly change your cherries in water and drain. Remove the tails, cut them in half to remove the kernel (here we will work over a receptacle hollow to keep the juices) and set aside with the juice in a bowl.

AROUND LA PLANCHA

One begins ! Apply a few drops of olive oil on your griddle and wipe with a piece of absorbent paper. Turn on the position 2, the heat and wait 5 to 6 minutes. Pour a few drops of oil on the surface and raise your power at 6. Do a cooking test by dropping a piece of cherry on the plancha. If the griddle is hot enough, add the remaining cherries and drizzle with a few drops of olive oil. Let cook for about 2 minutes and add in the "vergeoise" sugar, or sugar, brown sugar. Let it melt the sugar and stir well. Drizzle with the maple syrup or honey, stir well again, let warm up... it is ready !
