Safety thermocouple NS / NC / ECO / ELP / ELC Mainho
The thermocouple is a safety device that automatically cuts off the gas at the tap if the flame on the gas lines is accidentally extinguished.
At the end of this thermocouple, a calibrated probe transmits an electrical signal to an electrode incorporated in the gas tap.
This device is used in gas cooking appliances.
- ECO - NE - NS - NC - ECO LINE Series: T-100/821x400 - M8/100 L40 connection
- FC Series: T-100/1137-500 - M9/100 L50 connection
- PC Series: T-100/1116-500 - M9/100 L50 connection
- PB - PBV - PBI - ELB series: T-100/821x400 - M8/100 L40 connection
The thermocouple consists of 3 parts.
- 1 metal wire (nickel + chrome alloy - type K) inserted into 1 tube (nickel + aluminum alloy (5%) + silicon - type K).
Both ends: (tip and terminal) soldered as shown in the picture.
- 1 copper tube serving as a channel for the first 2 parts.
When the tip is heated, the heat energy transformed into electrical energy creates a magnetic field.
The latter is used to open the gas tap valve. In the absence of flame, the spring relaxes and closes the gas supply.
Thermocouples are characterized by a letter that determines the operating temperature range.
