Criteria determining the choice of your plancha:
- The quality of the metal of the cooking plate used. (ISO TC-186 corrosion test)
- Accuracy of plate temperature adjustment.
- Report: Mass of the plate / time of setting at t° > 270°C minimum = (between 5 and 8)
- Hardware options and warranty.
Use of stainless steel containers:
When using stainless steel pots and pans on a hard chrome cooktop, you should follow a few rules:Cast iron treated with 60 or 96µ hard chrome, although very resistant to thermal shocks, must not be subjected to mechanical shocks.
The area reserved for conduction heating must not be at a temperature higher than 180°C.
